Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently searching for a qualified and self-motivated Assistant Head of Department to join our Maintenance department.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing complex and complete drawings using computerized drafting tools AutoCAD and other computer-sided software.
Deputize the HOD and assist him/her in developing short to mid-term maintenance plans, ensuring the highest planned work compliance
Developing preventive maintenance schedules, SOPs, inspection checklists, work plans, and other necessary documentation.
Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, inspecting, and directing the work activities of the maintenance department.
Understand the knowledge, skills, and abilities of each maintenance employee to select, train, and provide guidance and inspiration through leadership and teamwork to ensure empowered work teams
Allocate workload and supervise maintenance activities
Generate electrical designs for projects, prepare cost estimates, and maintain records of job costs.
Monitor equipment/spare parts inventory and liaise with the procurement department for restocking
Ensure proper tool availability to improve maintenance efficiency
Quality control and management of supplied materials, equipment, and workmanship of external contractors
Ensure health and safety policies are complied 

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

BSc Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BSc Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent qualifications
A minimum of five years’ experience as maintenance personnel and one year as assistant maintenance/supervisor manager or other managerial role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD electrical and other relevant electrical engineering design tools.
Knowledge and practical experience in CNC technology with a clear understanding of PLC systems, servo motor mechanisms, and other industrial drives.
Ability to work without supervision and willingness to work for long hours
For All Steel Structure Solutions Quality with Integrity’
Experience in planning maintenance operations, Mechanical engineering, or instrumentation or Equivellent qualifications
Working knowledge of industrial electric circuits and equipment
Ability to keep track of and report on activity
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and technical report writing
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Certifications by EPRA, NCA, and registration by engineering professional bodies will be an added advantage.
