Key Responsibilities:
Operate and manage all knitting machines safely and efficiently, ensuring products meet quality standards and handling production-related adjustments (size, style changes, etc.).
Collaborate with Quality Control (QC) to address machines/products not meeting quality expectations; maintain or exceed the company’s quality benchmarks on the knitting floor.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain computerized circular knitting machines to consistently produce high-quality products, utilizing appropriate yarns and raw materials for achieving design objectives.
Oversee the feeding of raw materials into machines, replace consumable spares, and coordinate production schedules for timely order delivery.
Prepare daily production and attendance reports, manage a team of attendants, and ensure adherence to safety protocols; provide training for new team members with QC HOD.
Update management and engineers on machine status, switch and load machine programs, and address knitting faults for improved product quality.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, with strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and multitasking abilities; strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience with circular knitting and hosiery development is a plus (training provided); capable of leading a team with a positive attitude.
Physical ability to stand for 8-10 hours, lift heavy parts, and operate machinery; must handle bending, stooping, and reaching tasks.
Essential attendance, ability to read and write English, and work in a medium to low noise environment.
