A multinational pharmaceutical company is actively looking for the ideal candidate to fill the position of a Logistics Specialist (Regional) to be based in Kenya.
Key aspects of the role include:
Managing sales orders from customers across a region
Responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of warehousing/storage, order fulfillment, transportation, and inventory control activities
Managing excellent communication with distributors and other relevant departments to ensure the supply in accordance with the requirements
Managing improvement changes and implementation in the logistics processes, regulatory compliance, marketing, artwork, etc.
Providing timely and high quality logistics reporting to stakeholders
Supporting monthly S&OP process with cross functional participation from different departments
Other duties as may be required by the business
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
Candidate based in Kenya only
Bachelor degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or related field
Experience in Logistics and Distribution Operations preferably within pharma industry
Experience with Import and Export Documentation in the East Africa Region
Working experience with ERP systems; PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Problem solving in a complex matrix environment
Able to work periodically with high workload and tight deadlines
Able to work in multi-lingual and multi-cultural environment
