Key Responsibilities
Teaching and research (Four courses per semester)
Supervision of research projects
Mentoring of students and academic advising
Setting and marking assignments, tests and examinations
Assisting in smooth running of department
Providing leadership to the other departmental members
Qualifications and skills
PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Nursing (Medical/Surgical) or related field from recognized University
At least three (3) years of teaching/research experience at the University level as Tutorial Fellow
Be registered by nursing council of Kenya
Must have a minimum of 24 publication points since appointment as Tutorial fellow, of which at least 16 should be from refereed journal papers
