Job summary:
The successful candidates will be reporting to the Chair Business Administration, Chandaria School of Business (CSoB) and will be expected to teach, conduct scholarly work (research and publication) and engage in community and industry linkages.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks/Duties:
Teach at undergraduate and graduate levels in the specific areas of specialization as listed above.
Support and mentor students in their career endeavors.
Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure that the programs are up-to-date and marketable.
Participate in program assessment and reviews.
Supervise students’ research (projects/ thesis/ dissertations) at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Engage in research and publication in one’s area of expertise.
Engage in service to the University, the profession and to the community.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications /Educational/Professional Experience:
To qualify for appointment an applicant must have:
Lecturer
An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited and recognized university and be registered or registerable with the relevant professional body.
At least 3 years of teaching/research/industry experience at the university level as a Lecturer/Research Fellow/senior manager.
A minimum of 24 publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers/book/book chapter; and
Registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
