IFDC is seeking to recruit the above intern to support their Knowledge Management Department in their day-to-day activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Update the knowledge repository with relevant knowledge resources
Support with planning and execution of related knowledge events, seminars and dialogues
Organizing, and classifying documents in collaboration with content owners (units, departments, teams) by using IFDC guidelines
Assist in identifying, digitizing, and uploading relevant documents on past IFDC project documents.
Assist in the identification, listing, transfer, and preservation of non-current records.
Provide management support for the Audio-visual Archives through processing the Audio-Visual collection of IFDC according to format i.e. photographs, videos, films, and sound recordings.
Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Required Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree information science, records management, archiving, BBIT, or a closely related field.
Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of French is an advantage.
Excellent interpersonalin skills and ability to operate effectively in an environment with multiple stakeholders and people from different cultures and backgrounds.
