Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating dishes according to restaurant standards.
Ensure kitchen workstations are clean, organized, and comply with food safety regulations.
Assist in stock management, inventory control, and proper food storage.
Support the head chef and kitchen team in daily operations.
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality.
Maintain high hygiene and sanitation standards in food handling and kitchen areas.
Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Minimum Requirements & Responsibility
Prior experience working in a busy kitchen or restaurant setting is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and adapt to the restaurant’s procedures.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
