Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of meals by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
Serve food to students and staff in a timely and friendly manner.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed in compliance with health regulations.
Set up dining areas and assist in clearing tables after meals.
Dispose of waste properly and manage kitchen supplies and inventory.
Report any kitchen equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Follow all school policies and procedures related to food service operations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Certificate in catering
One-year experience in food service or kitchen assistance (an added advantage).
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
