The Role
St Andrew’s School, Turi is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Teacher to contribute to the development of an exciting curriculum, as well as to line manage the Teaching Assistant linked to their.
The Key Stage 2 Teacher will be lead by our inspirational and dynamic Assistant Head Primary.  We are looking for an ambitious teacher, with proven classroom experience, along with a passion to contribute to the educational experience of some of our young learners.

The School
St Andrew’s, Turi is one of the leading international schools in Africa. Founded as a Preparatory School in 1931, it has grown to comprise of both Preparatory and Senior Schools. Person Specification
Knowledge & Experience

A degree of at least 2:1 or its equivalent
A teaching qualification, e.g. PGCE
An additional qualification of educational management

Knowledge

Experience of Teaching Key Stage 2
A proven track record of excellent teaching and pupil support
Experience of life in a boarding school

Experience

Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
A proven track record of excellent teaching and classroom management skills
Coaching qualification in school sports, or outdoor adventure
