Job Description
MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Develop and execute the ‘Shoprite welcome plan’ and set up the Shoprite business for Unilever Kenya.
Must train local team on the Shoprite ways of working.
Professionalize our ways of working with all customers in the International Modern Trade channel i.e. Carrefour, Choppies, Game and Shoprite.

JOB SUMMARY

Manage and develop the relationships
Develops the customer strategy
Work out a joint customer business plan
Execute the plan, monitor and review
Provide customer and channel understanding
Manage the customer P&L
Negotiate trade terms and trade funding
Manages customer operations

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in a dynamic environment
Needs self-confidence to manage an extremely unpredictable market
Shoprite National Account Management experience
Necessary experience in dealing with the Shoprite systems i.e. listing documents, prop docs etc
Proven track record in dealing with formal retail
