Portfolio Management & Delivery ~50% of effort

Where relevant, and according to technical expertise, deliver on projects and programmes in a client-facing capacity.
Provide oversight of project work planning, budgeting, progress, and financial reporting across the country portfolio.
Manage and mentor staff on project delivery and technical skills development.

Business Development & Market Positioning ~30% of effort

Promote our growth ambitions in the region acting as the leadership face of the company.
Cultivate relationships with clients, partner organisations and consultancy networks regionally, across a range of sectors and practice areas.
Participate in networking events, seminars, and conferences, marketing Triple Line expertise and experience to a wide range of stakeholders.
Build and maintain a network of strong, relevant, and trusted associates.

Business and Personnel Management ~20% of effort

Work collaboratively with Triple Line Leadership team in strategy, resource management, business planning & budgeting, primarily focused on the Kenya business.
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the team based in Kenya.
Promote a culture of high performance and delivers on a commitment to strong inclusive and environmental values across the business.
Provide Triple Line Leadership team with a nuanced understanding of the local context, and report on key issues, opportunities, and risks in the region.
Work closely the Kenya Office administrator (and external suppliers), provide oversight on all payments from the Kenya office, and support in cashflow planning and budget management.

Essential candidate attributes:

10+ years work experience in business development within a consultancy setting
An appreciation of the commercial and operational matters within a consultancy company
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage client and stakeholder relationships
Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management, and staff
Experience in working internationally, ideally in areas relevant to Triple Line’s line of work.
Technical expertise in Triple Line-related sectors
Right to live and work in Kenya
