Junior Commercial Collection Coordinator

Job Summary:

Used Cooking Oil (UCO) is the waste generated after vegetable oils have been used for cooking food, becoming unfit for consumption. UCO is sourced from industrial (food industry), commercial (HoReCa – Hotel, Restaurant, Catering), and domestic (household) sectors. Collection is typically done door-to-door in quantities ranging from 50 to 1,000 liters per delivery point. On behalf of our client we are seeking a Junior Commercial Collection Coordinator to scout, engage vendors, and plan UCO collection, aiming to increase collection across Nakuru and Nyanza regions through dedicated activities. He or she will efficiently achieve UCO collection targets as per commercial contracts. Execute daily collection plans in coordination with the Biofeedstock Commercial Manager as well as identify new collection opportunities and develop strategies to capture additional UCO from new accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

Identify new UCO collection opportunities in Nakuru and Nyanza regions.
Coordinate UCO collection from points of origin (PoO).
Share collection plans with Biofeedstock Commercial Manager.
Report on assigned tasks.
Identify potential UCO producers.
Maintain relationships with contract references at PoO.
Coordinate operational activities for UCO transportation from PoO to storage.
Assess UCO quality and quantity at PoO.

Job Qualifications:

Relevant Diploma and Experience in Sales and Marketing.
Must be farmiliar with Nakuru and Nyanza.
Good Communication skills.
Previous experience in UCO collection will be an added advantage.
Professional Driving License (car + truck).
Fluent in English and Swahili.
Must have a minimum of  2 years in waste and residue collection, commercial role in vegetable oil industry (refiner, distributor), or any commercial position linked to the HoReCa sector.
