Duties and Responsibilities
Update accounts receivable and issue invoice
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit transactions and tally and file invoices
Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for financial statements
Assist with other accounting projects.
Key Requirements and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related.
Certified Professional Accountant (CPAII)
2-3 years of proven work experience as Junior Accountant.
Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Critical thinker with a high proficiency in math.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent report writing, communication and IT skills.
Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software packages
