Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the IT Sales Accounts Manager will be responsible for the recruitment of new resellers of IT accessories, maintaining commercial relationship between them and the company and generating revenue as per set targets.
IT Sales Accounts Manager Job Responsibilities
Lead generation
Contact new/prospective resellers of Company products
Send quotations and follow up on them till they make orders
Respond reseller queries on time
Target, develop and grow a group of set accounts
Regularly achieve individual revenue and margin targets
Understand the account base and demonstrate accurate account mapping / forecasting within all accounts
Account Management
Work on clients’ issues to ensure a smooth flow of events to satisfy the client
Introduce new products to resellers to make them aware of the services offered
Ensure timely delivery of items and services
Build professional, strategic and productive business relationships with account base
Demonstrate significant growth across all accounts
General administration relating to the sales process
Debt collection
Liaise with accounts team to send SOA to clients before they fall due
Collect the payments when need be from the client
Pipeline management
Follow up on sales quotes and prequalification’s
Add new quotes to the pipeline
Ensure constant growth and conversion
Qualifications for the IT Sales Accounts Manager Job
Bachelor degree in IT or related field
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in IT Sales/Reseller business
Proactive Account Management
Experience in retail operations
Ability to multitask
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail – achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
