Purpose / Project Description: The purpose is provision of IT consultancy service to Mercy Corps Kenya
Consultant Objectives:
The consultant will have the following objectives:
Consultant Activities:
Internet support services as described below:
Servicing all the Nairobi and field based computers
Maintaining operating systems and all networks (both wireless and local area network)
Help desk: End user support on all software and hardware issues via online, on phone and on-site support
Desktop and laptop maintenance support
Carry out preventive maintenance for all printers in the organization on quarterly basis. (Schedule 1-List of Printers)
Data recovery and back-ups
Software and Kaspersky Antivirus update
Linux and Windows Server management
Deal with ISP in case internet or bandwidth issues
For Nairobi Office at ABC place, twice a week visit and on call as proposed
