IT Administrator IT Manager Sales Representative

Job Description
Reporting to the ICT Manager, you are responsible for managing, coordinating system technology in the entire organization as exploring and proposing areas of improvements in as far as IT technology is concerned.
Key Responsibilities

Disaster Planning and Recovery- Analyze applications and systems backup policy procedures and disaster recovery plans.
Provide expert support (and system management where applicable) for assigned systems and applications.
Data Base and Application availability for all assigned systems and applications.
Maintenance and support of the IPPBX, Syspro Application and Database and/or any other systems running on the network both LAN and WAN.
Maintain a high availability of Routing, Firewall and Internet services.
Systems Operations and support and not limited to Servers, Applications and Databases but inclusive of KRA devices.
Coordinate with other IT staff appropriately to achieve excellence in overall ICT service delivery
Full involvement in testing new ICT products, equipment, services and technologies relevant to the company.
Provision of User Acceptance Test (UAT) environment in Technology user department
Train ICT equipment users with tips on how to work more efficiently and how to resolve common problems
Documentation development and maintenance of all the company applications
Ensure ICT Policy implementation and ensure ease of accessibility of Documentation
Periodically recommend relevant policy document updates i.e., every 6months and manage new version application of all of company system and relevant documents.
Carry out relevant employee Continuous assessment and Review Technology user competencies and recommend to management relevant user training needs.
Maintenance of relevant ICT Licenses, Contracts and SLA’s – i.e., Maintain ICT hardware and software inventory logs for the number of ICT equipment’s, licenses, versions and relevant ICT contracts
Any other duty assigned by ICT Manager

Skill & Experience

Bachelor’s degree, in computer science or other computer related degree.. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, with a specific focus on technical and system administrative roles.
Advance Knowledge in Linux/Solaris Based Operating System, Microsoft Operating System and window Server Management.
Demonstrated thorough understanding of Information Security, Networks, Enterprise systems, Capacity development
Knowledge of Laravel and Gninx will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Syspro ERP.
Professional Certifications will be a plus; CCNA, MSCE, MCITP or any other certifications deemed for the ICT field.
