Your Role
As an FI Investment Officer, you will:

Scout and secure investment opportunities that align with our fund criteria.
Engage in negotiations, crafting term sheets with potential partners.
Conduct in-depth due diligences focusing on both financial and impact-driven aspects.
Develop and pitch compelling investment proposals to our Investment Committees.
Monitor ongoing investments, comply with the reporting requirements and stay updated with market trends.
Stay informed on the economic, financial, and political developments in your designated regions.

Your Profile

We are on the lookout for candidates with an advanced degree in finance or economics and at least three (3) years of experience in inclusive finance. A passion for impactful work, a proactive approach, and a knack for achieving results are crucial. You should have strong analytical abilities, a hands-on attitude, and the resilience to thrive under pressure.
Excellent communication skills in English are essential; proficiency in French is a big plus. Familiarity with the African market contexts is crucial for success in this role. This role demands a high degree of flexibility and readiness to travel frequently (at least 30% of the time).
