Our client, a premier provider of ICT, ELF (Extra Low Voltage), and integrated technology solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Associate to join their dynamic team.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong ability to enhance sales performance, cultivate key client partnerships, uncover emerging business prospects, and extend the company’s market presence across regional territories. This position demands a commercially astute professional with a track record of success in selling ICT equipment, technology solutions, networking infrastructure, security systems, data center solutions, or other related offerings.

The preferred applicant should exhibit extensive regional market experience outside of Kenya, along with a proven ability to consistently meet sales objectives, oversee major accounts, and successfully finalize high-value B2B transactions.

Oversee and execute core functions essential to the role, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and departmental goals. Deliver high-quality outputs in accordance with established standards and timelines, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, resolve challenges, and optimize operational efficiency. Provide strategic input and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and drive continuous improvement across key initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and excellence through consistent performance and adherence to best practices.

Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within Kenya as well as across regional markets.

Drive sales of ICT equipment, ELF systems, and advanced technology solutions, catering to corporate, government, educational, NGO, and commercial sectors.

Design and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and meet established targets.

Oversee the full spectrum of the sales process, encompassing prospect identification through to deal closure and ongoing account stewardship.

Craft proposals, quotes, presentations, and tender responses with precision and clarity.

Develop and nurture enduring connections with both current and potential clients to foster mutual growth and long-term collaboration.

Analyze client business requirements and recommend suitable technology solutions to address them effectively.

Regularly schedule and execute client meetings, deliver engaging presentations, and perform detailed product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.

Deliver exceptional customer experiences to drive satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty.

Create and expand business prospects within East Africa and additional Sub-Saharan African regions.

Stay abreast of market developments, track competitor movements, and identify emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.

Explore untapped market segments and emerging growth prospects to expand the organization’s reach and enhance revenue potential.

Develop comprehensive sales forecasts, maintain detailed pipeline reports, and generate strategic business development updates to ensure accurate tracking and growth projections.

Deliver comprehensive market intelligence and strategic counsel to senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making and guiding the organization’s long-term objectives.

Contribute to the formulation and execution of sales strategies.

We seek candidates who meet the following essential qualifications: a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline; at least three years of hands-on experience in full-stack development; proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and SQL; familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; and strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

A relevant four-year degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a closely aligned discipline is required.

A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in B2B sales across industries such as ICT, ELF, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology solutions is required.

Proven track record in selling ICT equipment and technological solutions effectively and consistently.

Experienced in managing and developing business strategies for markets beyond Kenya’s borders.

Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of ICT infrastructure, networking, security systems, data center solutions, and related technologies.

Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals, delivering impactful presentations, and conducting effective negotiations is essential.

Proven expertise in commercial strategy with a demonstrated capacity to finalize significant, high-value transactions.

Demonstrated skill in cultivating and sustaining high-level client connections at the executive tier.

Demonstrated expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) platforms and comprehensive familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite are essential.

Open to traveling domestically within Kenya as well as throughout the wider East African region as necessary.
