Activities and Tasks:
In coordination with the regional partnerships and communications teams, the consultant will:
Develop a recognition and visibility plan for key public and private sector partners to the region.
Produce targeted content showcasing the results of the partnerships between UNICEF and key public and private sector donors to be published on multiple platforms (including social media; UNICEF websites) in close coordination with country offices, programme, communications and public and private partnerships teams at country, regional and HQ level.
Gather existing content from the region and liaise with relevant colleagues to ensure broad and effective dissemination.
Provide donor visibility and recognition support to country offices vis-à-vis specific partners and projects, including through monitoring of existing content and the development of tailored messaging.
Work relationships: State the responsibilities of the parties involved in the assignment. Elaborate on the work the relationship the consultant will be engaged with (e.g., partners, stakeholders etc.)
The consultant will report to the Senior Advisor of the Public Private Partnerships team and will work in close coordination with partnerships specialists in the team who will support the consultant to inform the development of the recognition and visibility plan. Where necessary, the consultant will also engage with external partners.
The consultant is also expected to work in close collaboration with the regional communications team and partnerships teams at country, regional and HQ levels.
Education:
A university degree is required in one of the following fields: international relations, political science, communications, journalism, international development, or another relevant technical field.
Experience working in media/journalism is desired. The candidate should also have excellent writing skills.
A minimum 2 years’ experience is required for this post.
