Functions / Key Results Expected
The In-Country Coordinator will deliver technical, coordination, and facilitation support under the guidance of the Deputy Program Director, collaborating closely with each country’s Sherpas. The role will prioritize activities that strengthen countries’ engagement in the FCLP, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
We will oversee the coordination of tasks and ensure accurate reporting throughout all activities. Facilitate government involvement in FCLP governance activities, including participation in the Steering Committee and other critical meetings.
Facilitate involvement in the thematic priorities of the Forest Certification for Landscape Program, including integrated fire management, sustainable wood production, and supply chain optimization.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough due diligence on Indigenous Peoples’ rights, land claims, and tenure agreements, ensuring alignment with legal frameworks and corporate policies. Accurate record-keeping and up-to-date documentation are essential to support decision-making processes, mitigate risks, and uphold transparency in all transactions.
