RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the tagging of key documents harvested into the InforMEA and UNEP LEAP portals, including but not limited to MEA COP Decisions of strategic importance, Agreement texts, E-Learning modules, text portions of publications against the set of terms and against Sustainable Development Goals, Targets, and indicators, as well as other internationally agreed goals and targets.
Support the overall work of the Collective Intelligence Unit Team, including with the preparation of internal and external meetings, including as appropriate, collaboration with partners and consultants, and in the implementation of the 4th phase of the Collective Intelligence for Environmental Governance project.
Assist with research and drafting in support of the E-Learning section of InforMEA as appropriate.
Assist with monitoring and use of the different components of InforMEA by users.
Support internal and external communication efforts, including supporting the drafting of social media posts for platforms such as LinkedIn, X, and Facebook.
Other support to the Team, as appropriate.
Qualifications/special skills
The applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
The preferred area of study is in Information Technology, Data Science or Environmental Law.
