Job Purpose
To provide support in the Nairobi Cluster – Finance Unit
Job Duties and Responsibilities
To enter raw data in the CODA excel template for review and posting.
Support in journal entries in CODA in-tray.
Validate Field Returns using a checklist of support documents for different expenses; validate calculations in the support documents and ensuring all returns have been approved with a signature by the respective project manager.
Ensure the management of an efficient filing within the Finance Unit.
Support in archiving finance documents.
Support in reconciling working advances to National Society.
Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
Education
At least hold CPA part 2 or University Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or any other qualification in relevant fields eg ACCA. Required.
Experience
Experience in accounting and finance roles in a formal office set up. Preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Languages
Practical knowledge of computers (Windows, spread sheets, word processing, email). Required.
Ability to write basic Financial Reports. Preferred.
Basic knowledge of finance and budget management. Required.
Organizational capabilities and communication skills strongly required. Required.
Fluently spoken and written English. Required.
