Institutional Capacity Building Manager – International Development Advisory Services (IDAS)

Position Summary

KPMG International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) wishes to recruit a Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing capacity building programs for our clients. The candidate will work closely with the clients, subject matter experts, trainers, technical assistance providers, and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality services and achieve the desired outcomes.

Key roles and responsibilities

Develop and implement capacity building programs for clients, including needs assessment, planning, design, delivery, evaluation, and reporting.
Conduct external analysis and research to identify capacity building trends in different sectors and provide appropriate solutions to clients.
Identify, engage, and manage external consultants, trainers, and partners as needed to deliver the capacity building programs.
Develop training materials, manuals, guidelines, and other tools to support the training programs.
Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the capacity building programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
Maintain accurate records and reports of the capacity building activities and performance indicators to track progress and measure success.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to clients on capacity building best practices, methodologies, and approaches.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance the firm’s reputation and business opportunities.
Stay up to date with the latest developments, innovations, and trends in capacity building and related fields and share knowledge and insights with the team.
Identify business opportunities for providing institutional capacity building and provide support in business development, including concept note and proposal development, to realize the business opportunities.
Supporting IDAS internal capacity building initiatives

Academic/Professional qualifications and Experience:

A master’s degree (preferred), or at least bachelor’s degree in organization development, business administration, management, social sciences, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in institutional capacity building, organizational development, training, or related field.
Proven experience in designing and delivering high-quality capacity development programs for different audiences.
Knowledge of different capacity building methodologies, tools, and approaches.
