Inside Sales Assistant

Job Summary

As an Inside Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in our Business Development team by connecting with insurance agents, promoting our product and services, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You will handle outbound and inbound calls, provide excellent service to agents, and compile daily reports to support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Make outbound and inbound calls to potential and existing insurance agents to promote our insurance products and services.
Target Metrics: Meet daily call quotas and focus on securing a specific number of appointments. Your success will be measured by the number of participants who attend our training sessions as a result of your efforts.
Manage Personal Targets: Effectively organize and manage your daily, weekly, and monthly schedule to achieve individual targets, seeking regular feedback from your supervisor to improve performance and efficiency.
Gather and record insurance agent feedback from phone calls and prepare detailed daily reports.
Provide excellent customer service to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure agent satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions with insurance agents.
Collaborate with the Business Development Managers to achieve company objectives.
Adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed to support team goals.

Requirements for the role:

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
1 to 2 years of experience in a sales, customer service, or call center role. A background in the insurance industry is desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong phone etiquette is essential.
Proficient in typing and basic computer applications.
Ability to adapt to different tasks and a dynamic work environment.
Customer Service Orientation: A strong focus on understanding and meeting agent needs.
Attention to Detail: Ability to prepare accurate and insightful reports based on agent interactions.
Previous experience in a call center environment would be a plus.
Familiarity with insurance products and terminology.
