Information Technology Program Manager

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managers will directly manage, support their team(s) to develop, implement and deliver on complex pieces of work within their remit. Work requirements and tasks will be guided by the department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual which is reviewed periodically but will fall broadly in the following Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):

Technical KRAs 
Project Delivery Excellence: 

Develop and coach team leads in end-to-end delivery of projects. 
Define and enhance SOPs, work assignments, planning and tools to ensure efficiency in delivery.
Define and measure project KPIs in line with customer contracts and expectations.

Stakeholder Management: 

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Understand client objectives, anticipate future requirements, and identify value add opportunities. 
Create visibility of value delivered to clients.

Growth & Innovation

Build a culture of growth and innovation. 
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and engineering best practices. 
Implement continuous process improvements adopting best practices and innovative solutions.

Leadership KRAs 
Performance Management: 

Manage employee performance e.g., Weekly/monthly continuous performance discussions and provision of feedback.
Translate strategy into executable plans while motivating your team with clear direction by setting clear goals and KPIs each quarter.
Succession Planning: Develop the next leadership bench in your team through identifying and working with HR in developing your team’s talent potential e.g., coach, mentor and facilitate development of direct reports.
Behavioral Role Model: Emulate Techno Brain corporate values through your behavior through rewarding and voicing support for good behaviors as much as you reward technical competence.
Team Engagement: Engage employees and manage diversity within the workplace by encouraging and personally participating in employee engagement activities.

Succession Planning: % of high potential individuals identified for succession planning in team.
Behavioral Role Model: % of cases, warnings or issues arising from the team members.
Engagement: % of team-building activities and positive feedback received during HR Connect

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Academic Qualifications

Master’s degree in related field from a recognised university is desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field 

Professional Qualifications

Relevant professional qualification.
Member of a relevant professional body

Experience

A minimum of five years of software development program management experience.
Strong technical background with proficiency in technologies the software development and/or cloud.
Prior experience in project management or the related area for either a large account or multiple accounts across various geographies. Offshore experience (should have managed a large enterprise accounts or multiple small and medium sized accounts) and Graduate / Post Graduate degree with Computer science or related specialization.
PMP Certification or Program management certification is a plus.
Experience at customer site as onsite manager or any leadership initiatives assumed corporate level or at any Strategic Business Unit/vertical/functional level, with a proven success.
Fixed Price project management, with SLA based delivery.
Multi-vendor / SI Program management experience.
Well-versed with quality management processes.
