Duties and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the jobholder will be responsible for;
Providing strategic leadership in the domains of Information and Communication Technology.
Oversee system integration, system modification and audit.
Spearhead disaster recovery and risk management.
Ensure procurement of Information Technology systems.
Create and implement training programs to educate users about various aspects of Information Technology.
Ensure stability of the systems and communications to avoid any downtime in the operations.
Develop a strategic plan for integrating new systems or software with existing ones.
Person specifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent from a recognised University.
A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience with three (3) at a supervisory role.
Must possess relevant certifications such as ITIL and CCNA.
Must possess strong leadership skills.
Must have strong analytical skills crucial for evaluating complex data and assess Information Technology systems performance and making data-driven decisions.
Must understand the importance of data security, cybersecurity principles and threats.
