Attache who will be supporting the Finance functions in the Country Office, ensuring that all projects’ expenses are compliant with the Donor, Government and Search For Common Ground Regulations/Policies and Procedures. The S(he) will work in close collaboration with the Finance Team to ensure that we are 100% compliant & audit ready.
Duties & Responsibilities
Organize and update filing.
Learn & Support in Pre-audit assessment
Learn & support in weekly bank & petty cash reconciliation.
Learn filing of withholding tax for consultant payments
Follow-up on submission of original documents from Administration, Program & DME Team
Learn and support to review supporting documents for various expenses
Requirements
Diploma or Degree students in Finance within their third/final year of study or as per the institution industrial attachment requirements.
Knowledge of computer packages, especially Excel.
Working knowledge of the English language along with writing and communication skills.
Demonstrates integrity by modeling the Search values and ethical standards.
Maintains effective working relationships with staff to facilitate the provision of support.
Selected candidates will be required to submit a valid personal accident insurance cover and a valid introduction letter from the school.
