We are seeking a seasoned project management professional to provide skilled and experienced leadership to lead our ability to successfully deliver projects for Distribution Utilities and Metro Grids. This role will act as a resource that can ensure delivery of successful projects by offering excellence in tactical execution and coordination of projects to ensure on-time deployment and excellent customer satisfaction. Key elements of success will be customer change management, project management and deep knowledge of electricity Grid operations management.
You’ll be expected to:
Own the project management, coordination and scoping activities for customer projects
Deployment and successful completion of projects
Be responsible for coordinating internal and external activities, getting the right resources involved at various phases of the project, track progress, timelines and provide reporting internally and externally to customers on the project progress.
Track tasks and action items, follow up with task owners and get the right resources involved to close action items.
Serve as an operational leader and coordinator in resolving customer issues
Establish the right level of project governance internally and externally
Develop, implement and manage the project work plan
Implement a risk register program to mitigate major risks with task ownership and accountability
Implement the change and issues management processes
Escalate issues as needed to ensure resolution with problem tracking and resolution plans and dates. The result being every day we quickly know what major issues are open and still need resolution
Have a standard project management capability to keep organized and ensure successful execution of critical projects Summary of daily/weekly/monthly responsibilities:

Comfort and proficiency working with and reporting out to executives
Profound customer communicate skills
Advanced project management and organizational skills including soft skills needed to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders
Comfortable and knowledgeable of various contemporary professional solutions so that you can utilize them when identifying solutions
Stakeholder management
Understanding of change management
Skills utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheets
Ability to understand and collaborate with engineers
