Implementation Engineer

Key Responsibilities: 

Cross Team Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Customer Success Managers, PM, and Delivery teams to implement and deliver customer solutions effectively.
Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical product expert for the Sama technology platform, understanding its capabilities and limitations.
Customer Requirements: Work closely with customers to understand their complex requirements and guide the integration of the Sama platform and services into their environments.
Solution Design & Implementation: Design, build, deploy, and support customer-specific solutions or integrations, ensuring they meet technical and business needs.
Mentorship & Team Development: Mentor and upskill other team members, sharing knowledge, best practices, and providing guidance for career growth.
Innovation & Process Improvement: Explore new technologies, stay ahead of industry trends, and contribute to improving Sama’s offerings and internal processes to ensure continuous growth and efficiency.
Ownership & Autonomy: Take full ownership of custom implementations, managing all technical aspects of the project from start to finish with minimal supervision. Use your expertise to make key decisions and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Simplifying Complex Concepts: Translate intricate technical solutions into easily understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Tackle ambiguous problems and find effective solutions that address customer needs, ensuring that technology meets human-centric objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience as a Implementation Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or equivalent 
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Relevant experience can substitute for degree
Strong Development experience in Python or other web development/scripting languages
Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with cloud-native services, including AI/ML services offered by those providers.
Proven ability to rapidly learn and implement new technologies to enhance existing products and solve customer challenges.
Experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
Strong communication skills, organizational skills and prioritization, balancing multiple challenges at once
Willingness to work flexible hours including late evenings and available during some overlapping hours with the North American team.
