Impact Manager Senior Human Resource Manager

Purpose of the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Impact Manager to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As an Impact Manager; you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring our impact strategy, ensuring that our social objectives align with our business goals. The successful candidate will have a passion for social impact, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing social programs.
Job Description

Develop and implement a comprehensive impact strategy to maximize and scale our social and environmental impact, in line with DDD’s mission and vision.
Design and execute monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness of our programs and their alignment with our social objectives.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement innovative solutions that address the needs of our beneficiaries and contribute to the growth of the organization.
Manage relationships with key partners, including NGOs, government agencies, and donors, to build strategic alliances and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
Prepare regular reports on program performance and impact for senior management, the Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
Develop and manage budgets for social impact programs and initiatives.
Lead and support a team of impact professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure their professional development and growth.
Represent DDD at conferences, workshops, and other events to raise awareness of our social impact initiatives and share best practices.
Support and assist senior management on fundraising activities.
Perform any other tasks as required by management

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in social impact, program management, or a related field, with a focus on digital inclusion, youth empowerment, or community development.
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating social impact programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Swahili or other local languages is a plus.
