Job Summary:
The IML Machine Operator oversees the in-mold labeling process, ensuring high-quality production of labeled plastic products. The role involves setting up machines, monitoring operations, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate IML machines according to production specifications.
Load labels and raw materials into the machine.
Monitor the production process to ensure proper label placement and adhesion.
Perform quality checks to inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machine operation.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean work environment.
Record production data and report any operational issues to supervisors.
Work closely with the quality control team to ensure product consistency.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Prior experience in the plastic molding, labeling, or packaging industry is a plus
Experience operating IML or injection molding machines (preferred).
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
Good mechanical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
