Human Resources Specialist

HR Practitioner 

Has qualifications and extensive experience in Human Resources Management within a public sector context and an understanding of the Kenyan Water Sector. 

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Academic 

Master’s degree in human resources management, Organizational Development & Transformation, Succession Management, Strategic Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; 
Degree in Human Resource Management 
Certification as Human Resource Professional of Kenya (CHRP-K) is a must; 
Valid Practicing License from the Institute of Human Resource Management, Kenya is a must; 
Registered as a Consultant with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) 

Skills and Competencies 

Demonstrated experience of at least ten (10) years’ in in undertaking Functional analysis, conducting competency analysis, conceptually and with hands-on assessments, as well as experience in talent management. 
A good grasp and understanding of the Kenya’s water sector and devolution processes. 
Proven track record in successfully carrying out at least three (3) assignments of a similar nature. 
Proficiency in English and Swahili Languages. 
Experience and skills in facilitation of stakeholder engagements/workshops.
