Human Resource Manager, Golf Course Superintendent Sales Executive

Administration

Manages human resources department, ensuring compliance with all Hotel policies and procedures and local government regulations pertaining to employment practices including the CBA.
Monitors and track casual requisitions for General Manager/Director approval.
Maintains and updates human resource files, employee records and physical files, HR database, legal documents and cases, policies and procedures and other personnel matters.
Coordinates leave and off administration in consultation with the GM and completes forms for approval.
Monitors and reports on absenteeism.
Co-ordinate with the nurse on staff sickness.
Co-ordinates rotas with Heads of Department.
Coordinates the processing of terminal dues and staff clearance procedures during staff separation.
Assists in managing enquiries and routine correspondence in the HR department.
Assists in the payroll computation and comparisons at the end of the month. Has to be familiar with Time and
Attendance biometric system and HRMIS and creating payroll inputs
Oversees implementation and administration of union agreements.
Has regular meetings with staff and Works Committee and proactively manages grievances to mitigate escalation.

Recruitement:

Assist with interviews, shortlisting for junior staff positions
Carries out necessary reference checks.
Ensures staff files contain all necessary onboarding documents.
Liaises with Security Manager regarding security clearance of potential and new employees.
Oversees orientation of all new employees in accordance with NSC guidelines.
Ensures monitoring/recording/evaluation of staff and employee progress during probation

Training and development

Assistance with performance appraisals
Managing training and tracking development areas

Others

Investigates all disciplinary actions to ensure union agreements, applicable laws & regulations
Issues show cause letters, consults with department heads and disciplinary committee on appropriate action and recommends to GM and Directors for final action to be taken.
Conducts exit interviews and counselling.
Manages the Hotel’s Pension Scheme and documentation for staff who leave
Review HR manual, Staff Handbook and policies recommending improvements to General Manager and Directors.
Management of trainees and interns
Management reports to directors and experience of presenting the same

Requirements and Competencies

A relevant course in Human Resource and required qualification
Excellent knowledge of CBA, labour laws
Excellent time management skills, excellent verbal and written English and attention to detail
Able to deal with staff grievances
Performance appraisals management
Duty Manager shift experience
Added Advantage – Candidates with a Legal background or Hospitality HR experience
