We seek to hire highly skilled and experienced HR Generalists with a passion for consulting and a strong track record in supporting SMEs. Join our dynamic team as an HR Account Manager. This role is responsible for providing expert guidance and support in all human resources areas.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Execute on agreed client HR deliverables
Manage and meet client expectations
Interpret overall business strategy objectives into HR deliverables
Provide innovative solutions to client’s HR needs and gaps
Support managers within client businesses with their people needs
Support the hiring manager in the recruitment and selection processes
Understand roles, review JDs and advise clients accordingly
Support client in end-end performance management- goal setting/KPI formulation, performance tracking and evaluations , PIPs etc
Create and implement robust onboarding and orientation systems
Review Client HR handbooks and policies to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant
Write HR manuals/ handbooks and policies where necessary
Advise the company on employee disciplinary matters and sit in hearings
Coordinate employee exit processes and procedures
In charge of HR Admin and HR documentation; preparation of Jds, contracts etc
Participate in company culture development
Accurately manage payroll systems where necessary.
Required specifications
At least 5 years of work experience in a busy SME
Experience in a HR Consulting Agency and accounts management
Mandatory experience performance management system
A Bachelor’s Degree in HRM or a related field
Relevant HR Qualification and Registration
Ability to quickly grasp concepts and translate facts and data into solutions
Able to manage client needs and expectations by providing innovative solutions
Willingness to learn and a love for reading
Thorough understanding of the Kenya labour laws
High emotional intelligence and personable
Must have excellent people skills
Keen attention to detail and strong administration skills
Excellent communication skills both oral and in writing
Energetic and confident, able to address business owners and senior management
Willing to gain training skills and learn how to develop training content
