Job Description
The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) will be tasked with streamlining the HR functions to achieve the goals of the GHS initiatives housed under the GHS Section. This involves leading and managing the people and culture agenda of the programme; recruiting the right talent, enhancing staff performance, supporting employee development, and creating strong relationships with all the key stakeholders of the initiative and championing change initiatives.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Communications or related field.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Five (5) years relevant work experience three of which must be in a similar work environment.
Demonstrated experience of HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, succession planning, talent management and development.
Solid experience leading diverse teams and preferably working within regional teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated judgment and discernment skills, maturity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of staff and organizational records.
Current, in-depth knowledge and understanding of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management in the country of operation.
People management skills.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal and organization skills and working with cross cultural teams.
Strong Microsoft Office and the ability to use technology to collaborate across a global organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster trust and respect.
Self-motivated and highly organized, detail oriented.
Flexible, comfortable with deadlines and able to work well under pressure.
Fluency in English including excellent written and verbal communication skills, report writing and presentation skills.
Fluency in French is desirable.
