Job Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
Assist with the formulation of a HR policy
Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.
Assist with the recruitment and management of temporary staff
Assist with performance management procedures.
Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
At least 2 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of labour laws and contracting.
Innovative and flexible to offer various solutions as per the business requirements
Understanding of the recruitment and management seasonal /temporary staff
