Qualifications
Degree, Diploma in an Engineering field, Public Health, and Environmental Science.
At least 1 year of experience in the HSE field.
Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Knowledge of risk assessment methods and techniques.
Familiarity with company Policies and ISO Standards. Legislation such as OSHA 2007, EMCA 2015, ISO Standard 14001 and 45001 is beneficial.
Familiarity with OSH auditing and inspection processes.
Knowledge of hazard identification.
Knowledge of accident and incidents investigation, identifying root cause and using hierarchy of control to propose corrective action.
Job Role
Assists in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
Monitors compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the organization.
Develop and deliver training programs and awareness campaigns related to HSE.
In collaboration with the Head of HSE, the Assistant Head of HSE assists in investigating incidents, accidents, or near-misses that occur within the organization.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential safety risks and hazards within the operations.
Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans for the LPG manufacturing processes.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation related to HSE activities, including policies, procedures, training records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the HSE program
