Job description
The ideal candidate Must have extensive working experience in English and Anglophone speaking Africa countries.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent the business to the rest of the HR community
Assess HR implications of the business strategy, identify opportunities to further meet business needs
Establish and maintain relationships with senior managers in order to drive the execution of HR programs
Represent the full spectrum of HR programs and processes to the business
Consult and support business in implementation of HR processes in respective business areas
Consult business on HR policies and processes in the region
Act as owner of all documentation and data for business
Generate reports or provide data as required, both for the business as well as within HR
Qualification:
Bachelors/Master’s degree in Human Resources. CIPD qualification would be a plus
At least 5 years ‘ experience in a similar position gained in an international environment
Knowledge of local employment law within Africa
French speaking would be an added advantage
Strong business acumen; thorough understanding of business goals, vision, culture and environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally.
