HR Director

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director Human Resources will be responsible for ensuring that PEVANS EA LTD has optimal human resources capacity.
Responsibilities

Provide oversight and assume responsibility for the performance of the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
Define and develop the annual and long-term goals of the HR department, secure executive buy-in and ensure alignment with the strategies of the entire organization.
Guide management and employees actions by researching, developing and updating policies, procedures, methods, guidelines and communications.
Develop accountability structures, measure success against goals, regularly report on progress, and hold the team accountable for prioritizing and delivering results in key strategic areas.
Be an ambassador for staff to management, represent leadership, and defend executive decisions.
Motivate the team, hold the team accountable to shared goals, identify lessons learned, and celebrate team successes.
Work closely with the finance team to determine and manage an annual department budget.
Actively conceptualize and lead initiatives aimed at improving efficiency of processes within the HR department.
Lead the implementation of a performance system to track and analyze data in the employee lifecycles with a particular focus on staff performance management.
Develop and inculcate a culture of performance management in the whole organization
Provide advice to senior management; lead and actively support HR-related projects that are in line organizational strategy.
Coordinate the review of the organizational structure and provide strategic advice on its appropriateness with regard to effectiveness and efficiency
Ensure the organization is adequately resourced by professional and competent personnel by implementing sound talent sourcing and retention programmes
Ensure the development of capacity building plan and career progression paths in the organization, plan and organize learning initiatives for staff and leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or Social Sciences from a recognized institution
Master’s in business/psychology preferred
Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management
Must be a member of Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) with valid practicing certificate
Over ten year managerial HR experience
Must have worked in an organization with a call center, preferably a technology driven company
Professional competence in HR management and especially recruitment
Good understanding of labor laws
International exposure desired
Excellent communication skills
