The HR Assistant will support the HR department in various administrative and operational functions. This includes handling employee records, assisting in recruitment, maintaining HR files, and providing general support in day-to-day HR activities to ensure smooth operations within the manufacturing environment.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, interview scheduling, and new hire documentation.
Maintain and update employee records in the HR system to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Support the HR team in processing payroll and ensuring timely and accurate compensation.
Coordinate employee benefits, leave management, and performance appraisal processes.
Handle routine HR inquiries and provide support to employees on HR-related matters.
Assist in the preparation of HR reports, including attendance, leave records, and training logs.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Organize and schedule training sessions, workshops, and employee events.
Support employee relations activities by addressing employee concerns and escalating issues to the HR Manager as needed.
Assist in maintaining a safe, healthy, and positive work environment by ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in an HR assistant or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and employee benefits.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach to tasks and ability to work under minimal supervision.
