Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Training Development Officer to lead the design, development, and customization of training and related products for the health sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our training initiatives meet the evolving needs of healthcare professionals and organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Design and develop comprehensive training programs, short courses and related products for healthcare professionals, addressing current industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, healthcare professionals, and educators to ensure the relevance and accuracy of training content.
Customization of Professional Services:
Customize solutions to meet the specific needs and challenges of healthcare organizations, ensuring alignment with their goals and objectives.
Analyze client requirements and tailor existing programs or develop new solutions to address unique organizational needs in the health sector.
Needs Assessment:
Conduct needs assessments within the health sector to identify gaps in knowledge, skills, and training requirements.
Stay informed about industry developments and emerging trends to proactively address the evolving needs of healthcare professionals.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of training programs.
Collect and analyze feedback from participants, trainers, and clients to continuously enhance program quality.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and healthcare professionals to ensure the seamless development and delivery of training programs.
Engage with key stakeholders in the health sector to understand their unique challenges and incorporate feedback into program development.
Resource Management:
Manage and organize resources required for training development, including materials, technology, and subject matter experts.
Stay within allocated budgets and timelines for program development.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of program development processes, including curriculum outlines, training materials, and assessments.
Generate regular reports on the status of ongoing projects, key performance indicators, and program effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in developing and customizing training programs for the health sector.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and technology-enhanced learning methods.
