Head of Supply Chain – Electric

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Supply Chain Management

Develop and Implement Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive end-to-end Electric supply chain strategy that aligns with the BU’s objectives and operation, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and responsiveness.
Monitor and Optimize Processes: Oversee the supply chain process from production to last-mile delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.

Demand Planning and Forecasting

Develop and manage demand forecasting processes in collaboration with commercial teams and planning
Balance supply with demand to minimize stockouts, overstock, and obsolescence.
Stock Optimization: oversee and align levels across all points, ensuring optimal inventory while adhering to safety stock requirements.
Replenishment Planning: Coordinate replenishment activities, ensuring timely and efficient stock movement between locations
Traceability: Implement processes to track inventory across stock points, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

Logistics and Distribution

Oversee inbound logistics to WH and stock points to ensure timely delivery
Manage outbound logistics, warehousing, distribution centre and transportation to ensure products are delivered on time to customers or stock points.
Optimize last-mile delivery operations for cost-efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Risk Management

Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including demand fluctuations and logistics challenges.
Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions along the supply Chain

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

Be the key contact point between BU and Supply Chain
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, procurement, logistics and operations, to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
Build strong relationships with external partners, including logistics providers, and last-mile operators.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance (e.g., OTIF, inventory turnover, cost-to-serve).
Provide regular reports and insights to the BU leader, highlighting opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.

Skills and Experience:

End-to-End Supply Chain Expertise:
Proven experience in production, inventory management, logistics, demand planning, and last-mile delivery.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and leverage analytics tools for demand forecasting and performance monitoring.
Leadership: Strong skills in leading cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
ERP Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NAV, SAP) and supply chain planning tools.
Problem-solving: Proactive approach to identifying and addressing supply chain issues.
Customer Focus: Commitment to meeting customer expectations through efficient and reliable supply chain operations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: 8+ years of experience in supply chain roles, with at least 5 years in leadership capacity overseeing end-to-end processes.
Certifications: APICS CSCP, CPIM, or similar supply chain certifications are a plus.
