Role Description
Our client in the banking sector is seeking a Head of Religious Sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strong relationships with churches and religious institutions. Key responsibilities include acquiring new customers, retaining existing ones, and driving income growth through the sales of the bank’s products tailored for the religious sector.
Responsibilities
Ensure all new business activities comply with AML/KYC and CTF laws and regulations, and regularly update customer information.
Drive growth in the existing deposit portfolio by meeting organizational targets, focusing on current accounts, collection business, and wholesale deposits with targeted institutions.
Onboard new clients, identify and address their needs, and ensure the service provided aligns with their expectations.
Meet income generation targets through current clients and recruit customers into digital financial services.
Stay informed of trends and changes within the Churches and Religious Institutions sector both locally and internationally.
Focus on deposit mobilization from Churches and Religious Institutions.
Provide advisory services and excellent customer support to resolve inquiries, fostering customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain customer sales coverage plans, managing each relationship according to the Bank’s customer service standards, with regular reviews of customer portfolios to assess future needs and income potential.
Efficiently develop and present new business proposals to ensure potential opportunities are realized.
Manage and deepen relationships with existing clients to expand Business Banking solutions.
Proactively initiate and maintain customer-Bank communication at all levels to ensure exceptional service.
Adhere to all of the Bank’s policies, procedures, and Central Bank requirements.
Exemplify the Bank’s brand and corporate values in both internal and external interactions.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business related field/Theology
Strong presentation skill set.
Good analytical skills.
Highly effective communication and collaboration skills.
High level of cooperation with others and is responsive to the banks and team’s needs.
AMC/CFT training/knowledge.
Have Served as a Bishop/Pastor/Priest/Catechist/Reverend within the last 5 years
