Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of the Corporate Organisational Development Strategies, Plans and Policies managing implementation against agreed corporate time frames, budget and reporting against agreed performance measures.
Lead the OD function, managing the implementation of plans and strategies by maximizing the resource of the whole team.
In liaison with the Group HR Director, develop the OD Strategy.
Carry out continuous reviews to ensure optimal structures across the Business functions. Ensure adequate span of control is maintained across all structures.
Design and facilitate the implementation of Change Management programmes to support cultural & organisational change and performance improvement in line with organisational values.
Developing and embedding an approach to the evaluation of Organisational Development activities consistent with the corporate approach to Return on Investment and Quality Improvement.
Using enterprise processes & systems, organisational competencies and behavioral framework to support development of employees to achieve long term business performance and growth.
Evaluating, and where appropriate changing the underlying processes, organisational principles, organisation structure and roles and responsibilities to ensure they are effective in delivering the strategy and outcomes of the business area.
Understanding how information flows through the organisation and effectively facilitates decision making.
Leading on the creation of competency models, ways-of-working and assessment of capabilities and behaviours.
Job Requirements
For the above position, the successful applicant should meet the following criteria:
University degree in HR Management or a Business related field from an institution recognized by the Commission for University Education is required.
Master’s degree in HR Management or a Business related field is an added advantage.
Professional qualifications in HR General or specific area of HR is required. (Certificate / Diploma / Higher Diploma/ Post Graduate Diploma)
Minimum of 10 years’ HR experience with at least 5 years’ experience in OD and Change is a requirement.
Advanced knowledge of Labour Legislation & Employment Laws; HR Regulatory framework.
Mastery of HR policies and procedures, data & records management
Advanced Business Acumen with strong industry knowledge
Displays deep insight in Leadership competencies and offers solutions that consistently work and add value.
