Job Description
The Head of Marketing will have 2 direct reports and will report to the Head of Marketing of the EMEA region.
The position will be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
The main responsibilities include: to create and lead the implementation of the MEA marketing vision, strategy, brand building principles and best practices that build long term brand equity, enduring profitable growth and maximises growth opportunities across our client’s portfolio. Drive regional marketing talent development, raising the overall skill set and quality of marketing planning and disruptive execution. Set up clear processes to manage the implementation of Global Brand Strategies in the region, respecting and adapting to local consumer and customer insights.

Requirements:
Only Kenyan citizens will be considered for this role
Strong marketing experience in the FMCG sector. Experience with alcoholic beverage will be preferred.
Ability to think out of the box, be part of the ‘disruptive brand’ mind-set and be passionate about the brands and organisation
Good understanding of the Africa and Middle East region
Proven leadership experience
Previous experience in PNL management
Flexibility to travel – Approx. 50%
