Head Chef

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef with a popular club & lounge in Nairobi, Kenya. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen, managing staff, creating and implementing menus, ordering supplies, and ensuring quality food production. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a kitchen team, developing menus, and managing finances.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with high-end clubs
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience working in a high-volume kitchen is a must
Experience in menu planning and recipe development
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to manage finances and inventory
Degree or Certification in Culinary Arts or relevant field
