Group HR Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with the Employment Act and all relevant labor laws.
Handle legal matters, including liaising with lawyers and attending court proceedings as required.
Negotiate and maintain productive relationships with unions to ensure smooth labor relations.
Keep employment contracts and company HR policies up to date with legal and industry changes.
Lead and oversee disciplinary processes, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
Implement and monitor performance review processes to drive employee development.
Handle workplace disputes and grievances in a professional and legally compliant manner.
Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring the right talent is attracted and retained.
Develop strategies to enhance workforce planning and succession planning.
Ensure HR processes are streamlined and leveraging technology for efficiency.
Maintain and manage HR systems, databases, and records effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Member of IHRM
Minimum of 10 years of HR management experience, preferably in a fast-paced industry.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, legal proceedings, and court processes.
Proven experience in union negotiations and maintaining strong industrial relations.
Strong understanding of disciplinary procedures and HR best practices.
Experience in performance management and employee development.
Excellent knowledge of recruitment processes and talent management strategies.
Highly computer literate, with proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office, and data management tools.
Confident, assertive, and proactive in handling challenges and driving HR initiatives.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
High level of integrity and professionalism
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
