Job Description Summary
Manage the sales of Products & Digital Control Systems in Sub Saharan Africa, mainly but not limited to East African zone , so called commercial zone. In charge of:
Ensuring enough pipeline to reach the OP.
Getting minimum two elephant projects per year (>2M$) in the pipeline.
The Order Intake of the zone for Grid Automation GA (Products, Systems,
Services, M&D and IndCom)
the business development of the zone (customers events, prescription, channels…)
Feed and control the tendering activity
Manage the GA qualification programs
Drive the commercial activity in the commercial zone through Speak

ln charge of Grid Automation Sales in East Africa
Participate & contribute to Grid Automation strategy for the commercial zone
Define Grid Automation Commercial Action Plan CAP for the commercial zone (Projects, products, Channels, Installed base, prescription…)
Develop partnerships & channels in the commercial zone
Implement agreements (distribution, Value Added Resellers…)
Deploy Online Store to partners and define/coordinate channel animation in cooperation with GE Channels leader.
Identify opportunity / answer to Request For Quote / present & negotiate technical and commercial proposals to customers
Define and implement promotions actions to develop the activity (product & systems qualification new product/ spec in, events, customer training…)
Define and implement action plans on Grid Automation installed base in the commercial zone
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Engineer Level/electricity/commercial/control commands substation with at least 5 years’ experience. HV & Automation experience will be a plus
Experience & working knowledge of the East Africa Region
Fluent English language
Commercial experience of 3 to 5 years in field sales and marketing with specific expertise in the following areas:
Networks of Transmission and distribution of energy
High voltage substation and Medium voltage
Protection of power grids, control commands substations
