Key Responsibilities:
Project management: Lead planning, organizing, and executing all project deliverables, ensuring they are completed within the set timeframe.
Partnership Development: Collaborate with local churches to integrate them into the Green Churches initiative.
Policy Development: Develop environmental policies that align with each church’s mission and values, promoting sustainable practices.
Capacity Building: Train and empower church leaders and members in environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.
Last Mile Distribution (LMD): Prepare for and implement Last mile distribution in collaboration with church structures and the last mile distribution coordinator.
Community Engagement: Facilitate community outreach and engagement activities to raise awareness and promote participation in Green Churches initiatives.
Women Empowerment: Promote women’s empowerment through the Church Structures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Community Development, Project Management or related field.
5-10 years proven experience in community development and project management.
Strong understanding of environmental issues and sustainable practices.
Experience working within church structures and understanding of church dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for environmental conservation and community engagement.
