Job Description
The major roles of the Graphic Designer and Social Media Specialist will be to produce compelling branding and artwork for the brand, agents and for the properties we are selling. They will also be responsible for posting these on Social Media.
Key Responsibilities
Branding/ Imaging
Generating marketing material (artwork and copy) for new and existing products and services
Coming up with ideas for designs, fonts imagery
Overseeing production of adverts, newspapers and magazine advertisements, email campaigns/ marketing, websites, exhibition stands
Monitoring consumer reactions
Researching consumer markets, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas in which to spend marketing funds, based upon consumer needs
Develop and help implement strategies for both new and existing products
Influence design and branding decisions
Updating and maintaining the company’s website
Organizing and executing any events the company wishes to participate in
Making recommendations and supporting the sales team with their marketing messages
Preparing marketing proposals and presentations for clients
Creating appealing artwork for the properties we are marketing to post on our listings, social media and other marketing media
Creativity and Innovation
Assist in the development of sales aids and other marketing material which the team will use as part of the sales process
Assist in developing marketing plans and strategies
Content creation
Coming with new creative marketing ideas
Strategically searching for new marketing avenues that will offer value in reaching the company’s target market
Client Management
Ensuring artworks are approved before publishing them
Keeping neat records of all marketing activity undertaken including clippings of any print advertising
Publicity
Posting properties and marketing them on social media
Uploading and updating post content
Uploading property details/post content
Adding appealing photos of property and sharing information with relevant audience
Reporting
Assisting the marketing team to produce regular progress reports on the marketing plan (monthly, quarterly and annual)
Maintaining accurate records of signages employed by the company
Producing reports on feedback and success / failure / improvements to be made to all marketing campaigns including any exhibitions or events
Other
Assisting or covering for the other members of the marketing team when required
Any other duties as assigned by manager / director
Skill & Experience
Proven experience as a professional photographer and videographer
Excellent technical skills in operating professional photography and videography equipment.
Proficiency in photo and video editing software such as Adobe premiere and Photoshop.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
